How to grow your African hair with Milo flour mask? Firstly, I know you will be wondering why Milo and flour out of all suggestions to be used for hair growth and i have the answer. I specially recommended this because of the nature of the African hair, its curly, gets tangled easily and all that.
Milo contains certain ingredients that can trigger hair growth which are :- Malt Barley that originates from plants and you know hair loves plant based items on it, milk powder which comes from fresh dairy milk by removing the water it contains essential proteins which makes hair stronger, helps in length retention and enhances hair growth, Vitamins and minerals which serves as hair basic food.
African hair and also the human hair loves Vitamin and minerals, i don’t think any hair type would reject Vitamins as its basic food. Since, the hair is a living thing just like humans it needs food to grow.
Milo also contains, calcium, iron, carbohydrates, fat, phosphorus. Meanwhile, let me emancipate on the components of its Vitamins and Minerals. MILO contains 6 vitamins which are (Vitamin B2, B3, B6, B12, C % D) and 3 minerals (Calcium, Iron and Phosphorus). So, can see the amount of nutrient a sachet of Milo contains?
Now, lets head into preparation of the Milo and flour mask
1, A clean bowl
2, One Sachet of Milo or 5 tablespoons of Milo
4, All purpose flour or milk flour
7, Half cup or a cup of clean water.
METHOD OF PREPARATION OF THE MILO AND FLOUR MASK
1, Get your clean bowl, i recommend a transparent one. Make sure you clean your bowl very well by washing it, to prevent any dirt, insects, feces and so on from being in your mixture that would be applied on your hair. So, clean your bowl inside and out. In case you washed it make sure you dry it very well.
2, Pour Your Milo into the bowl. Make sure its powdery, at times Milo can congeal or block, so make sure you break into powdery form, to get the best Milo flour mask.
3, Get your All purpose flour or Milk flour and a sieve. Pour Two cups if you have a full hair or One cup if you have a scanty hair and make sure you sieve it as you pour it into the bowl. Why you should sieve? At times, ants and other insects can get into the flour and you wont know because flour is powdery and insects can be tiny. So sieve, you won’t want to put in insects into your hair.
4, Then, add in one egg into the mixture, Carefully do that so the shell of the egg (that is it’s back) won’t fall into the mixture. Yes! Pour both the yoke into the mixture. Let it be at the middle of the mixture. Done? now, gentle use the side Milo and flour to close up the middle egg you have just poured in. Also, if you have full hair I suggest you use one and the half egg or two.
5, When you are done. You can now add in three table spoons of mayonnaise if you have a scanty hair. If you have full hair, I suggest you add in five table spoons of mayonnaise. Don’t bother about where you should pour it. You can scoop it down to any position or side. It is all your choice.
6, Add in one tablespoon of honey to the mixture.
7, Now pour half cup of clean water. You can use C-way or any other clean water brands of your choice. Make sure its half a cup if you have scanty hair. For full hair pour in a whole cup of clean water.
8, Now begin to stir gently with a clean spoon. Keep stiring until it turns brown or chocolate color. It would look brown and slippery because of the egg when you are done. Once you are done we can begin with application process, which is quite very easy it won’t take your time.

2, Slightly damp your hair with towel. A mild towel that doesn’t pull or tangle along with your hair as your dry it. Do not completely dry your hair, it should still be wet but not the over dripping wet type.
3, If you have a full hair section it into six and pour each section, one by one as you apply the paste on your hair. Make sure it penetrates each strands from the root to the tips. Also massage the past into your scalp. If you have a scanty hair, you can section it into four and massage each strands from root to the tips and also massage the scalp. Make sure your massage each section for five minutes or more, it shouldn’t be less than five minutes. As your finish each section plait it.
